NORTEC Employment and Training Ltd provide a range of recruitment services for businesses and jobseekers (including labour hire and permanent staffing placements), as well as being a registered training organisation delivering industry training and traineeships both locally and nationally. These activities allow us to fund and support a range of positive community initiatives including NORTEC Youth Services, NORTEC Business Incubators and NORTEC Volunteering. NORTEC are also providers of the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) for the Northern Rivers NSW (Clarence Valley up to Tweed Heads).

NORTEC originated in the Tweed region in 1979 (formerly TTEC Enterprises) and the Ballina and Lismore region in 1984 (Ballina Enterprise and Training Centre), merging in 2008 to form NORTEC Employment and Training Ltd. A testament to NORTEC's excellent service delivery in employment and training solutions, as well as a commitment to community, NORTEC have experieneced recent business growth and now service from Coffs Harbour to the Tweeed. NORTEC have offices in Woolgoolga, Bellingen, Dorrigo, Nambucca and Coffs Harbour, Clarence (Grafton and Yamba) and in the Northern Rivers regions - Ballina, Brunswick, Byron, Casino, Kyogle, Lismore, Kingscliff, Pottsville, Murwillumbah and South Tweed (Head Office) and continues to provide excellent service in employment, training and community capacity building in these regions. NORTEC Employment and Training Ltd is a not for profit organisation that prides itself on its long-standing community development involvement. NORTEC have recently launched the $25,000 NORTEC Community Grants Initiative , offering not-for-profit organisations from the mid to far north coasts of NSW the opportunity to apply for a share of $25,000 worth of grant money.
