Is there any cost to me, at any time, if I'm looking for a job through NORTEC Labour Hire?

Absolutely nothing! NORTEC Labour Hire services are free to candidates. If we place you in a job, there is no fee charged to you. You will need to be a resident of the Northern Rivers of NSW or the Gold Coast, QLD as we source local jobseekers for local work projects.

You can register your interest by filling out this online registration form. It is also helpful to us if you fill out the skills checklist.

We would prefer you to fill out these onlne forms (you can also attach your resume) but if you are short for time, you can simply email us your resume by clicking here.

What kind of temporary positions do you have available?

NORTEC Labour Hire get a variety of temporary projects in the construction, trades and labour, hospitality and administration industries. They can be short term or long term work projects, or sometimes the employer wants to trial you first in their workplace for a certain period, to see if you suit the position.

Whose payroll am I on when hired for a temporary work project?

When you are placed in a temporary work project you are on the NORTEC Labour Hire payroll and we pay your insurances and superannuation. We treat you like our employee, provide you with any OH&S induction and safety clothing you may need on the job. When assigned to temporary work projects through us, you are representing NORTEC Labour Hire.
