What is Work for the Dole?
Work for the Dole is an Australian Government funded program which provides work experience opportunities and activities for eligible job seekers. Through Work for the Dole many unemployed people satisfy their mutual obligation to give something back to the Australian community in return for their unemployment payments.
NORTEC Recruitment like to engage jobseekers in Work for the Dole projects that will encourage them and provide sound skills for future employment whilst benefitting our local community.
Who can participate in work for the Dole?
- 18-24 year old job seekers unemployed six (6) months or more
- 25-34 year old job seekers more than twelve (12) months unemployed
- Job seekers aged 18 and over in receipt of the full rate of Newstart or Youth Allowance can volunteer to participate
